Powerlifters show well in home meet The Madisonville Mustangs were well-represented during the varsity and junior varsity Madisonville Powerlifting Invitational held here Feb. 14-15. “Of course, the meet went off without a hitch, thanks to our coaches, administrators, teachers, former athletes and current junior high and high school students that provided their help on Thursday and Friday,” said Coach Lou Olvera. “In addition, thanks again to our community and parents for showing up to support our athletes.” The District 19-3A Powerlifting Meet will be held on Feb. 23 at Palestine High School.
