Area News Briefs The revival at Living Truth Church in Madisonville completes its sixth week tonight, July 30, and plans are to extend it through Aug. 6. The church is located at 1100 N. May St. Jeff Taylor is ministering at the revival Sunday through Wednesday, July 27-30 and Aug. 3-6. Weeknight services begin at 7 p.m.; Sunday evening service begins at 6 p.m. Miracles of healing, deliverance and salvation each night. Everyone is welcome. The Democrats of Madison County will host a meeting on Thursday, July 31, at 6:30 p.m., in the Madison County Courthouse. Tanyard United Methodist Church, FM 1119, Rev. New students eligible to attend Madisonville Junior High School (grades 6, 7, or 8) may register starting Aug. 4, Monday through Friday, 8 - 11 a.m. and 1 - 3 p.m. Parents or guardians will need to provide proof of local residence as well as copies of the student's Social Security card, birth certificate, and health/shot records. Also necessary is a copy of last year's report card or contact information for the most recent school attended. The Texas Renaissance Festival 2008 Job Fair will be held Saturday, Aug. 9-10, on FM 1774, between Magnolia and Plantersville, 50 miles northwest of Houston. Wildlife Symposium and Wild Game Dinner will be Aug. 22, 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Madison County Fairgrounds, hosted by Texas AgriLife Extension Service of Madison County's Beef & Forage Committee.
