Area News Briefs Little Rock Baptist Church of Connor community invites the public to their annual revival Aug. 6-8 at 7:30 p.m. each evening to hear evangelist Rev. F.C. Holiday, Pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church of Houston. Homecoming Sunday will be Aug. 10 at 3 p.m. with guest speaker Rev. Jerry High, Pastor of Lake View Baptist Church of Madisonville. A Christian Arts Camp will be held Aug. 6-9 at The Abiding Place Retreat & Conference Center in Buffalo. Lessons will be available for art, dance, music, photography, writing videography, sign language and more. The Texas Renaissance Festival 2008 Job Fair will be held Saturday, Aug. 9-10, on FM 1774, between Magnolia and Plantersville, 50 miles northwest of Houston. Wildlife Symposium and Wild Game Dinner will be Aug. 22, 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Madison County Fairgrounds, hosted by Texas AgriLife Extension Service of Madison County's Beef & Forage Committee.
