Steven Wilhelm Richie - March 27, 1979 - Sept. 13, 2008

Steven Wilhelm Richie, 29, of Madisonville passed away Sept. 13, 2008. Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 18, at First Baptist Church in Madisonville. Chet Hensley and Troy Brooks officiated.

Burial followed in High Prairie Cemetery. The family received visitors Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Day Funeral Home Chapel.

Steven was born March 27, 1979, in Bryan to Gary Richie and Diane (Harpe) Hyles. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Doris Wilhelm Richie and grandfather, Jesse Harpe.

Survivors include his wife, Erin Ashabranner Richie; father Gary Richie and wife Mae; mother Diane Hyles and husband James; brothers Danny and Michael Richie; step-daughters Hailey and Hannah Windham; grandparents Kenneth and Ann Richie, and Eleanor Harpe; stepsisters Ericka Andrus and husband David, and Natalie Fodderie; stepbrothers Joseph Fodderie and Garrett Vick; aunts and uncles Larry Richie, Paul David and Jana Richie, Nancy and Rick Earp, George Harpe, Ronnie and Sheila Harpe, David and Rhonda Harpe, and Carlos and Cynthia Caruaual; father and mother-in-law John Ashabranner and wife Mavis; sisters-in-law K.C. Dill and husband Joey, and Kyle Duesterhoft and husband Lewis; cousins Connie, Stephanie, Charles, Hannah, Emily, Lauren, Ryan, Jeremy, Larra, Larry, Leslie, Stephen, and Jimbo Richards and Pebbie Rogers.

Pallbearers were Lance West, Yance West, John Snook, Scott Thomas, James Hyles, Joseph Fodderie, Joel Douget, and Jason Crabb.
