Teen nabbed on felony warrants

Madisonville police made a felony arrest Friday, serving a local teenager with warrants from Walker County.

Madisonville arrested Alejandro Peña, 19, without incident at his home in the 100 block of West Main. According to police, Peña was charged with having a firearm at a school and with threatening to impair public or government service, both incidents alleged to have occurred in Walker County. The charges are third degree felÂ-onÂ-ies, and each carry bonds of $20,000. Peña is out of jail on $43,500 bond.
