FC Mustang youth soccer ends strong

The FC Mustangs youth soccer program recorded another successful year. The Fall 2021/Spring 2022 soccer season produced many memorable moments and has given the club momentum for the near future. This year the club had 5 teams in different competitions. Age groups included U9, U10, U11, U13 boys and girls. All teams impressed with their style of play and sportsmanship on the field. The U9 and U10 boys produced 4 champion medals and 4 runner-up medals at various tournaments in the Houston area.

LITTLE LEAGUE COMING TO A CLOSE

Awards were given to all T-Ball, Machine Pitch Boys, Coach Pitch Boys, as well as Minor/Major Boys and Major/Junior Girls.

Mustangs compete at State

Madisonville’s memorable track season came to an end at the State meet in Austin Thursday as the school’s 4x200 relay team finished seventh at Mike A. Myers Stadium. The team, which consisted of Ronnie Mosley, Devin Wheaton, Jeramiah Burns, Rayce Hudson, Blessing Ngene and Lorenzo Johnson, set a school record in the 4x200 category at Regionals to qualify for Austin the week prior.

SPEED CAMP

District 18-4A softball held their district meeting and released their honors for the 2022 season last week. Madisonville had three players qualify for First Team All-District, three qualify for Second Team and seven qualify for Academic All-District. State Bound

The Madisonville men’s 4x200 relay squad finished second at Regionals to qualify for the State Meet and set a school record in the category, running it at 1:28.52. The team consists of Ronnie Mosley, Devin Wheaton, Jeramiah Burns, Rayce Hudson, Blessing Ngene and Lorenzo Johnson and will compete at the State Meet at the University of Texas Thursday.
