The North Zulch boys dropped two district games last week bringing their overall record to 6-5.

The Bulldogs fought hard against Kennard but came up short, 66-60. They were outmatched vs. Oakwood on Friday, losing 70-51.

“The Oakwood game was wild and competitive,” said Head Coach David Graves. “We missed some layups and passes that could have kept us in the game. My guys battled on the road and we came up short.”

North Zulch hosted Centerville on Tuesday in the last district game of the season.

“We will not be in the playoffs this year,” Graves said. “I’m proud and humbled in what we accomplished as a team in my first year. Missing the playoffs by one game hurts but it’s a starting point. I look forward to watching this program grow.”

The coach added that he is particularly proud of team captain Hans Osth.

“He is a great leader and player and has grown so much this year,” Graves said.
