Bedias Civic Club meets tomorrow

Posted

Bedias Baptist Church hosted a community-wide Thanksgiving dinner last Tuesday, Nov. 22. Everyone was encouraged to attend and share in the annual community gathering. This annual dinner is a wonderful community outreach, thank you to the members and staff of the Bedias Baptist Church for your good work and loving kindness.

Bedias Civic Club meets tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 1. Civic Club activities are open to all area residents and everyone is encouraged to attend and participate.

We are fast approaching our “World Famous Bedias Christmas Parade” (Saturday, Dec. 17) and you, your family and your neighbors can all join in the fun. Join the parade with your tractor, vintage vehicle, etc. or march with your family in holiday dress or costume.

Not in the mood for marching? Join the sidelines to cheer on the bands, floats, equestrian units, fire trucks, and much more. Don’t forget the pancake breakfast at the Civic Center, before the parade, and visit with Santa and share Christmas cookies at the Civic Center after the parade.

We have a wonderful Christmas movie planned for our Second Sunday Christian Movie Night, Dec. 11, at Miller’s Theatre, in downtown Navasota. Please plan to join us. You can learn more about our monthly film showings at our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/BediasTexasChristianFilmFestival

Miller’s Theatre offers great movies every weekend. Go to www.MillersTheatre.com for the latest program information and updates.

Do you have a community or church event you would like included in our weekly column? We would love to share your news with our readers.
