Funeral services for Bradly Noel Mackens, 40, of North Zulch, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Madisonville Funeral Home in Madisonville. Interment will follow in Willowhole Cemetery. A public visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, at the funeral home.
Bradly Noel Mackens was born on Dec. 22, 1975, in Clarksville, Tenn., to Noel Edwin and Brenda Kay (Lampley) Mackens. He grew up in Clarksville and Dickson, Tenn., and had lived in North Zulch for the past two years. Brad worked as a truck driver for most of his life. At the time of his death, he held a job in the maintenance department of North Zulch ISD. Brad greatly enjoyed raccoon hunting and coaching Little League baseball. His life was cut short on Jan. 16, 2015. Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Mackens, on April 14, 1990.
Brad’s surviving family members include his father, Noel Mackens of Palmyra, Tenn.; his wife, Jessica Lynn Mackens of North Zulch; children, Levi, Brandon, Joseph “JoJo” and Lynzie Mackens of North Zulch; brother, Crieg Mackens of Clarksville; and an adopted brother, Jeffery Helton. Brad is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeffery Helton, Tyler Helton, Heston Helton, Ricky Harris, Crieg Mackens and Harold Sapp.
