Bulldogs have strong showing in Buffalo tourney

In tournaments it’s all about playing with aggression and continuing that aggression throughout.

When North Zulch was the aggressor, the Bulldogs had their way, but when other teams were able to answer, it was a much more even ballgame.

The Bulldogs defeated Gateway Prep, Rosehill Christian and Meridian by a final of 62-57.

North Zulch finished the Buffalo Tournament 3-2, after falling to New Waverly and Leon.

“It was a great tournament to be a part of,” said Head Coach David Graves. “We had time to bond and learn more about each other. We are gearing up to finish strong going into district.”

The Bulldogs will continue their preparation for district competition at home Tuesday, Jan. 10, hosting Centerville. Tipoff is set for 6:15 p.m.
