A strong second half was the difference in the game Friday night as North Zulch defeated Bartlett on the road 53-39.
“It was a rough first half for us,” said Head Coach David Graves. “We came out very sloppy, but we collected ourselves and went out and finished strong.”
Gerhart Wiese led the Bulldogs with 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Trey Crocker had 15 points and snatched five steals. Cole Weaver had eight points and six rebounds and Tye Douga added seven points and five rebounds.
“Bartlett played hard every minute, but our guys really stepped up,” Graves said. “It’s games like these that make our team stronger, as we press closer to our main goal – which is building a basketball program with high standards and expectations.”
North Zulch will host Burton Friday at 5 p.m.
