Spirits were lifted during Senior Night at the North Zulch basketball game on Friday, as the Bulldogs crushed the Buckholts Badgers, 83-19.

North Zulch is now 14-10 overall and 5-2 in district play.

The boys carried the lead throughout the game, ending the first half with a 22-point cushion.

Junior Weston Wolf dunked on a rebound in the fourth quarter, bringing the score to 73-18.

Big plays also were made by seniors Zach Jensen and Hans Osth, who were honored prior to the game.

“It was a great Senior Night for both my senior captains, Hans Osth and Zach Jensen,” said Head Coach David Graves. “At the end of the night, though, it was a district game and every game counts. We are locked in as a team and ready to make a push one game at a time.”

The Bulldogs played at Richards on Tuesday and will travel to Calvert on Friday.
