North Zulch extended their winning streak to four games with their win over Burton Friday night, 72-45.
The Bulldogs (13-8), coming off wins against Centerville and Bartlett, not only extended their winning streak but looked and dominated doing so.
“It was a great win for both programs Friday nigh, girls and boys,” said second year Head Coach David Graves. “I think the boys came out with the right mentality from the start, understanding that these are the games we have prepared for all year.”
North Zulch led wire-to-wire opening up a 27-7 lead with 4:26 to go in the second quarter.
“I thought our defense was great,” Graves said. “We really locked in.”
The Bulldogs continued their dominance in the second half outscoring Burton, 41-20.
Gerhart Wiese led scoring with 34 points and 20 rebounds. Trey Crocker had 14 points and five steals. Michael Harris finished with nine points and eight rebounds, Levi Mackens had six points and four rebounds and Cole Weaver had five points and grabbed three rebounds.
The Bulldogs return to the hardwood Friday on the road in Snook.
