Funeral services for Dylan Thomas Dainty, 23, of Iola, , were held Saturday, May 7, 2016, at First Baptist Church of North Zulch, with the Revs. Brandon Gray and Mitch Harper and Kerry Stroud officiated. Internment followed in the Rock Prairie Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday, May 6, at the Madisonville Funeral Home.
Dylan was born May 22, 1992, in Hanford, Calif., to Wilfred William Dainty II and Laura Lynn LaJoie. He lived most of his life in North Zulch, where he started in kindergarten and eventually graduated from the high school. He became the youth minister at First Baptist Church in North Zulch. Dylan and Jessica Jones were married March 10, 2012, and had a daughter, Avalynn Kay. They were also very excited to welcome their two-week old son, Liam Travis, into the family. Dylan was a wonderful husband, father and brother. He was a very outgoing person, who was always smiling. He loved to hunt and fish. However, his main mission was spreading the gospel — he was on fire for God. Dylan went to be with his Lord on May 1, 2016.
Dylan was preceded in death by his PawPaw, Bill Dainty Sr.; aunt, Jackie Flowers; uncle, Lynn Flowers; and his grandparents, Renee and Jill LaJoie.
He is survived by his parents, Fred Dainty II and Laura Dainty of North Zulch; wife, Jessica Dainty of Iola; daughter, Avalynn Kay Dainty of Iola; son, Liam Travis Dainty of Iola; brother, Danny Dainty of College Station; paternal grandmother (Nana,) Teresa Dainty; in-laws, Doug and Lisa Jones; brother-in-law, Christopher Jones, and wife, Lauren; uncles and aunts, Tim and Cassie Dainty and Mike and Courtney Dainty; one nephew, Aarek Jones; and cousins, Tim, Jessica and their daughter, Bennett, Samantha and Joanna Dainty.
Pallbearers were Tim Dainty, Michael Juarez, Matthew Ferrell, Steve Story, Ethan Stroud, Travis Hibbetts IV, Zac Richards, Nick Lowery and Ronney Lyons.
Madisonville Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
