Lady Bulldogs win another district title


Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team on being district champs.

•This week is Red Ribbon week for Iola Secondary and Elementary schools. Wednesday is Be a H.E.R.O; wear camouflage or superhero shirt. Thursday is sock it to drugs, wear silly socks. Friday is team up against drugs, wear your school shirt.

•Little Dribblers registration is now open. Pre-K through sixth grade may participate in IYA Little Dribblers. The cost is $35 for the first child and $30 for siblings. Games will be played on Saturdays beginning in January and will be held in Iola and surrounding communities.

Registration after Oct. 30 means there will be an additional $15 late fee. Payment is due upon registration. Your child will not be placed on a team without payment. Forms and payment should be returned to the elementary office. Please use a separate form for each child.

If you would like your business or family on the back of the team T-shirts, please add an additional $75 to your registration fee. All parents are expected to work for a minimum of one shift, at each home game, during set up, concession, door, clock or clean up. Please contact Jason Gooch by email at with any questions.
