CENTERVILLE — The North Zulch Lady Bulldogs remain undefeated in district play, racking up wins over Oakwood and Centerville last week.

Seniors Kiera Cosby, Mackenzie Horn and Kyela Cosby continue to lead the team with strong performances from sophomore Emma Baker and freshman Hannah Wiese.

The ladies had a big win on the road vs. Centerville on Friday, outscoring them 40-27.

Earlier in the week, the Lady Bulldogs topped the Oakwood Panthers with a final score of 56-29.

The high-scoring games are nothing new for the Lady Bulldogs, and Head Coach Marshall Earnhart said he has been rotating in junior varsity players to allow them some court time.

“We are on the one-game-at-a-time plan,” Earnhart said. “We’re trying to stay defensively focused. We are going to continue to pressure the ball and push the ball in transition.”

The Lady Bulldogs, now 16-3 overall and 8-0 in district, face Buckholts at 7:30 p.m. Friday for Senior Night.
