Mary Patricia (Pat) Moore Roberson Lindsay, aged 82, died on Mar. 2 in Bedias, TX. Pat was preceded in death by her first husband, C.R. (Charlie) Roberson of Bedias. They were married in 1953 until his death in 2001.
Pat is survived by her husband of nine years, James W (Jim) Lindsay, also of Bedias; her children, C.R. (Rick) Roberson, MD, of Temple, TX; Rebecca (Becky) Roberson and husband George De la Garza, of Lago Vista, TX; P. Daly Roberson of Lago Vista, TX; brothers Brock Moore and wife, Vennie Wolf of Houston, TX and Mike Moore and wife Pat from Spring, TX; sister Dot Davis and husband Tom of Lexington, TX plus many nieces and nephews.
Pat was born Feb. 6, 1935, in Laurel, MS to parents James Brock (Jimmy) Moore, Jr. and Mary Hazel Daly. She graduated from Cleveland High School in Cleveland, TX in 1953. She worked at Helfman Motors in Houston for many years prior to moving to Bedias in 1977. She was First Vice President of First State Bank of Bedias until her retirement in 2010.
Pat was very active in the community and participated in Bedias Fire Department, Civic Club, Crime Stoppers, Bedias Cemetery Association, and was a member of DAR. She had a great sense of humor and loved being with her family on many cruises and gatherings. Her passion for quilting is known by many in the area and she loved genealogy.
Pat lived a life full of love and laughter and will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. A celebration of Pat’s life is scheduled for Sat., Mar. 11, at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Bedias from 2-3:30 p.m., with a private burial for family only to follow.
