The North Zulch Bulldogs would like to forget Tuesday’s game against Snook. The Bulldogs struggled to score, rebound and control the pace of the game falling to Snook at home, 88-33.
“We had too many turnovers,” said Head Coach David Graves after the loss. “With a team like [Snook] you have to take care of the ball – and we didn’t.”
The Bulldogs rebounded from their tough loss beating Normangee Friday night 61-56.
“Normangee played a great game,” said Graves. “But I thought my boys battled and really controlled the game, which we didn’t do against Snook. Senior point guard Trey Crocker did a great job making sure he set the tempo.”
Michael Harris led the team with 21 points and 10 rebounds, Gerhart Wiese had 17 points and 15 rebounds and Crocker had 16 points and six assists.
“We have to stay locked in and understand we have to finish strong,” Graves said. “We are heading in the right direction.”
