Ruby Pearl (Bryan) Holdridge, 81, of Madisonville, passed away in Houston on July 6, 2016. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Day Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, at Day Funeral Home Chapel, with the burial to follow at Madisonville City Cemetery. Lanier Stevens will officiate.
Ruby was born June 3, 1935, in Dimmitt, to David Joshua and Lela (Edwards) Bryan and she was a long-time waitress at the Coral Café in Madisonville.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Lee Holdridge Jr.; and her sons, Billy Jack Holdridge, Bobby Durwood Holdridge and Albert Lee Holdridge.
Ruby is survived by her sister, Eveline Spencer; her sons, David Wayne Holdridge and Kenneth Ray Holdridge and his wife, Dianna; her daughter, Eva Sue Pospisil and her husband, Joseph; her grandsons, Shane Holdridge, Jeromy Holdridge, Nicholas Holdridge, Daniel Holdridge, Robert Holdridge, Jason Holdridge, Joshua Holdridge and Wesley Holdridge; her granddaughters, Bethany Holdridge McCullough, Elizabeth Pospisil and Misty Holdridge Whitesell; and her 13 great-grandchildren.
