Grimes County Democrats to hold 'meet and greet' Monday


All interested persons are invited to attend a Grimes County Democratic Party "Meet and Greet," Monday at the Bedias Civic Center. Doors open at 5 p.m., Meet and Greet is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:20 p.m., and the program starts at 6:30 p.m. Please contact Party Chair, James Harris, 936-825-4846, for more information.

The Bedias “Wit & Wisdom” art exhibition continues at the “Bedias Bungalow Bed & Breakfast;” 3757 Magnolia St; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., through July 8. Everyone is welcome to join us for this unique exhibition, and please look for notices on how you can see more of the exhibit around town over the next couple of weeks, and even purchase some of the art for your home, if so inclined.

The Bedias Women’s Club will meet at 2 p.m. June 27 in the Bedias Civic Center. Their program will be “Line Dancing.” All Bedias area women are invited and encouraged to attend and participate in all women’s club activities.
