Sandra Kay Mixon, 72, passed away on February 1, 2021 at St. Joseph Health in Bryan, Texas, while surrounded by her loving family. Her passing was due to complications caused by COPD. Sandra is survived by her step mother Faynell Moore; husband, Richard Mixon; brothers, Charlie and Steve Moore; and her children Cynthia Petty, Teresa Packer, Terry Harvey, and Ricky Mixon. She is predeceased by her mother, Jessie Marie Moore; father, Wadus Moore; nephew Adam Moore, and son-in-law Randy Hudson.

LINDA BRACEWELL MASSEY

Linda Bracewell Massey, 76, of Needville, Texas, passed away on February 2, 2021 in Richmond, Texas. She was born on September 20, 1944 in Bedias, Grimes County, Texas to Raymond and Mary Bracewell. Her hobbies included making crafts, shopping, tending to her garden, and taking care of her many dogs overs the years. She was a proud “Mamaw “to her seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Linda will truly be missed.

The Madisonville softball team also participated in Feb. 9’s Our Day To Shine scrimmage against Elkhart, the proceeds of which benefited the Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation’s Benevolence Fund.
