Each year, Madisonville Elementary Teacher Sara Villarreal hosts a toiletry drive where she challenges each classroom to bring in 100 times on the 100th day of school. The items we collect are donated to the SonShine Center then distributed back into our community. Each class that brings in 100 items gets a popcorn party, donated by the SonShine Center.

Daniel Young has been hitting extremely well to begin the baseball season. The Madisonville High School graduate batted a team-best .417 through 10 games (9-1) for Tyler Junior College.

The Madisonville tennis teams continued to battle through the early portion of their spring season with a home tournament at MHS Friday. A number of Madisonville performers garnered top finishes at the event.
