MCFA Buyers Extend Support to Son-Shine Outreach Center

The Madison County Fair Association (MCFA), along with generous contributors, presented the Son-Shine Outreach Center with a check for $8,950 on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. These funds were raised at the 42nd annual Madison County Fair and Rodeo through a resale declaration put in place to support the interfaith mission that serves Madison County and surrounding areas.

New ordinance affects manufactured homes

On Monday, June 13, Madisonville City Council approved an ordinance adding a 20-year age limit requirement for all new manufactured homes. According to the ordinance, any manufactured home installed after the approval date of this ordinance will have to be manufactured within the past twenty (20) years of the application date (built in or after 2002), for the building permit, including all replacement and pre-owned manufactured homes.
