The Madison County Commissioner's Court convened on Wednesday, July 12, to discuss and take action on various important items that affect the county and its residents. The court addressed various matters, from expressing gratitude for funds to approving settlements and making decisions regarding personnel and policies.

and learning so many things. My writing is being put to the test, and I am so excited. Agriculture plays a huge role in all the lives of our community, and I am looking forward to how I can incorporate that into this paper. I will be attending all agricultural-related events that I can and digging into stories that I feel need to be heard. I am so blessed to have been given this opportunity at The Madisonville Meteor, and cannot wait to see where it takes me!

Hi, my name is Lyndie Dunn. I was recently hired by The Madisonville Meteor as the Agricultural writer and Office Assistant. Currently, I am attending Sam Houston State University pursuing my bachelors in Agricultural Communications. I was born and raised in Madisonville and hold so much love for this town and everyone in it. I graduated from Madisonville High School in 2019 and went on to Western Texas College on a rodeo scholarship, graduating in 2021 with my associate degree.
