On Friday, Dec. 15, Texas Internal Pipe Coating donated to the toy drive for MCSO Operation Blue Santa. Madison County Sheriff’s Office formed Operation Blue Santa in Madison County to help families in need.
Two Texas Department of Transportation bridges in Madison County have been delayed. The bridge along Boyd Road in Precinct 1 and the Trinty Street Bridge in Madisonville are both experiencing setbacks due to an unforeseen issue.
Trinity Street remains closed, while Boyd Road is now open. Updates will be provided as soon as they are available.

To help better serve the community, Midway Volunteer Fire Department purchased a LUCAS Device, an automated compression device that allows you to do consistent and high-quality CPR compressions. High quality CPR compressions are imperative for good survival outcomes. Members of Midway VFD received training on the LUCAS Monday, Dec. 11.
The North Zulch Lady Bulldogs have lost one matchup against Fayetteville and won one against Somerville for an overall record of 5-4.
On Tuesday, Dec. 5, they faced off against the Fayetteville Lions, ultimately losing 35-30, but on Friday, Dec. 8, they faced off against the Somerville Yeguas, winning the matchup 38-21.
