Community members wanting to improve the quality of someone’s life whether through simple companionship and conversation or supportive activities are needed. Volunteers can help by visiting with a hospice patient, baking a cake, performing handyman skills, cutting hair, or assisting with fun events such as rootbeer floats and Bingo.

Local FFA members selected for Texas FFA Ford Leadership Scholars Program

Every year, the Texas FFA Association, Ford Motor Company and Texas Ford Dealers select 10 deserving students to join the Ford Leadership Scholars Program. During the duration of the student’s senior year of high school the FFA members commit to a hands-on leadership program and complete year-long substantial and sustainable service capstone projects.

National School Breakfast & Lunch Program

North Zulch announced today it will continue to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program at all campuses for the 2024-2025 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
