To “Protect and Serve” takes on a special meaning for the Madison County Sheriff’s Office this time of the year as it prepares for Operation Blue Santa. Spearheading this labor of love for Madison County children, families, veterans and the elderly is Sergeant Calicia Kampf.

1930-2024 Frank Cornell Davis, born November 9, 1930, affectionately known as ‘PawPaw,’ joined his savior Jesus, on October 26, 2024, with his family by his side. Meeting the love of his life, Carolyn Dale Tyler, in study hall at Jefferson High School in Houston, they were married before he began serving in the U.S.

1945-2024 Kenneth Gebhard Martin was born to Henry and Lois Martin in Wichita Falls, on December 27, 1945. He grew up in Wichita Falls and graduated high school in 1964.
