Two lawsuits filed last year target the spread of toxic “forever chemicals” on American farmland, as contamination forces farmers to confront poisoned wells and dying livestock. Five Texas farmers sued Synagro Technologies in Baltimore County Circuit Court after their soil and water became contaminated with PFAS chemicals from sewage sludge fertilizer spread on a neighboring property in November 2022.

After a freeze, your outside plants may not look their best even if you covered them. It often takes several days for freeze damage to tender plants and some shrubs to become apparent. It could take much longer for some larger plants and trees. Plants in different areas of your yard may have different outcomes depending on the microclimate created by buildings, pavement, other plants, etc.
