On Monday, Jan. 13, the Madisonville City Council approved a new subdivision that will bring affordable housing to North McIver Street, marking another step in the city’s continued growth.

A proposed battery storage facility west of Madisonville could bring up to 120 construction jobs and millions in tax revenue to Madison County, according to representatives who presented the project to commissioners court Tuesday.
