Seven Madisonville Lady Mustangs powerlifters have qualified for the 2025 Regional meet. Isabell Zamora, McKenzie Mulligan, Dana Rowe, Aubrey Newton, Phoebe Colwell, Kaylee Davis and Emily Maxey will represent Madisonville at the competition under the direction of Coach Brittain.
The Madisonville Varsity Mustangs experienced both ends of the spectrum in their weekend games, defeating Livingston 7-2 on Friday, Feb. 21, before suffering a 10-1 loss to New Waverly Varsity Bulldogs on Saturday, Feb. 22.
The Madisonville Lady Mustangs soccer team defeated Diboll and Palestine by identical 2-0 scores last week. The Lady Mustangs (17-2 overall, 5-0 district) remain undefeated in 4A Region 2 District 16 play.
