Mattie Bell Hoehne, age 84, passed away peacefully at her home in La Vernia, Texas on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.

Mattie was born September 19, 1936 in Madisonville, Texas to Thomas Rob and Lucille (Lowry) Waldrip. Mattie was a caring and compassionate woman and a wonderful loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Mattie was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ. She was a well known and respected member. The last three years, Mattie attended the LaVernia Church of Christ where she was quickly embraced by a loving congregation. She loved spending time with her Woman’s Bible Study group. It was the highlight of her week. Mattie was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lynch; parents; sons, Johnny Hoehne and Gary Lynch; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Lynch and sisters, Jimmie Jo Taylor, Sara Ann Musslewhite and Bobbie Jean Montgomery. She is survived by her loving son, Glenn Lynch and daughter-in-law, Margaret Lynch of LaVernia; sister, Tommie Risinger of Bryan; grandchildren, Cole and Ashley Lynch Bolen of LaVernia, Gage and Aly Lynch of San Antonio, Eric and Carrie Lynch Edwards of Alvin, David and Jimmie Lynch Charlesworth of Alvin, Frances and Darrin Scopel of Alvin and Nancy and Calvin McGee of Cypress; twelve great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Her love and kindness will be missed by all.

A memorial service will be held 1 P.M., December 19, 2020 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Local arrangements
