The Madisonville baseball program is working together to collect non-perishable food items to benefit the Son-Shine Outreach Center in Madisonville, an event they have hosted in recent years under head coach Adam Borgfeld.

The food items will be collected from March 1 through April 1 and can be delivered by staff and students to Borgfeld’s room (#305) at the high school. Interested parties can also reach out to Borgfeld at aborgfeld@madisonvillecisd.org in order to arrange a drop-off or pickup.

The Mustangs will also have a drop-off box at all home baseball games throughout the month of March.

Suggested non-perishable food items include, but are not limited to, canned protein such as tuna chicken, chili, soups and PB&J, dry goods such as sugar, crackers and flour, boxed meals such as hamburger helper and tuna helper along canned vegetables or any other canned goods.
