Tamatha Lynn (Fickey) Krantz, 58 years, 7 months, and 14 days, of Midway, TX passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at her home with her loving family by her side. Graveside services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024, at Mount Tabor Cemetery with Bro. Glenn Connor officiating.

Tammy, as she was known to her family and friends, was born on May 2, 1966 in Madisonville, TX to Robert Lee Fickey, Jr. and Kathryn Elizabeth (Polley) Fickey. She graduated from Madisonville High School in 1984 and was a longtime employee of The Texas Department of Criminal Justice, retiring in 2023.

Tammy enjoyed crafts and shopping, but mostly, she loved spoiling her two granddaughters.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Diann.

She is survived by her loving husband of forty-two years, Joe; her daughters, Brandy, Melissa, and Amanda; her granddaughters, Makenzie and Lynnlee; her siblings, Kenneth, Bobby, Brenda, and Linda; and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
