1938 - 2024 On November 9, 1938, Inez was born to the union of James A.D. and Minnie Bell Coleman. She was born in Douglassville, Texas and later moved to Normangee, Texas. Inez worked as a private caregiver for many years. She worked hard to make sure her family always had what they needed.

1937-2024 Shirley “Shirl” J. Wilson Patterson passed away March 14, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas.

1936 – 2024 Ruby Edna Mae (Peyton) Grissett, 87 years, 5 months, and 21 days; from Iola, TX, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 7, 2024. Funeral services were scheduled for 10 a.m.

1946 – 2024 Melvin Lynn “Mel” Eaves, age 77, of Round Rock, Texas passed away at his home in Round Rock on March 2, 2024. Mel was born July 11, 1946 in Madisonville, Texas to Melvin Claud Eaves & Mary Fay (Dodds) Pierce.

1924 – 2024 Gerald Powell, 99 years of Austin, TX, passed away on February 18, 2024. Graveside services were scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2024, at Mount Pleasant Cemetery (known to many as the Bracewell Family Cemetery) in Bedias, TX.

1938 – 2024 Dalton Thomas “Sonny” Fox, 85 years, 5 months, and 25 days, of Madisonville, TX passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, in Bryan, TX. Sonny’s life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Day Funeral Home Chapel with the visitation prior to the service beginning at noon. The burial will follow at Mount Tabor Cemetery. Bro. Brad Brock will officiate.

1941 – 2024 Glenda Rose Batson Wyatt, aged 82, affectionately known to many as Granny Rose, peacefully departed to be with her Lord on March 6, 2024, at The Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. The overwhelming love for Glenda was unmistakable as she was surrounded by loved ones in the weeks preceding her passing and at the moment of her departure. Born on April 9, 1941, in Normangee, Texas, Glenda was the daughter of Charlie and Alda Belle Batson. She found her lifelong love in Daniel Thornton (“Poppy”) Wyatt, to whom she was married for 48 years until his passing on March 6, 2004. Glenda is also preceded in death by her brother, Charles Batson.

1951-2024 Mary Elizabeth (Fuchs) Fuller was born on February 20, 1951 in Houston, Texas to Frank William “Bubba” and Edna Freida (Rustenbach) Fuchs. She spent her early years near Cypress, Texas.

1938 -2024 Ruby “Aileen” Ne-Smith, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on February 29, 2024, at her home in Wimberley, Texas. She was born to Melvin & Ozelle (Taylor) Manning on May 24, 1938, in Madisonville, Texas, and was raised in the heart of small-town Texas charm.
