Jaime Martinez Garcia, 54 years, 5 months, and 11 days, of Madisonville, TX passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 in Kingwood, TX. The funeral mass scheduled for 12 p.m.

Monday, December 23, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Guillermo officiating. The rosary was scheduled to begin 11 a.m. prior to the mass.

The viewing began at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Day Funeral Home.

Jaime was born on July 9, 1970 in Rio Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico to Pedro Martinez and Hortencia Martinez Garcia. He was known throughout our community as a longtime employee at Vick Lumber Company and later as an independent contractor.

Jaime was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Graciela Martinez Rivas who was known to her family and friends as “Chela;” and his granddaughter, Sophie Martinez.

Jamie is survived by his children; Jaime Martinez-Rivas and his wife Arianna Lopez, Cesar Martinez-Rivas, Erick Martinez, Oscar Martinez-Rivas, and Diana Isela Ferguson and her husband Nicholas Ferguson; his grandchildren, Christopher Lopez, Jaxon Martinez, Sophie Martinez, Kylar Ferguson, Tavin Ferguson, Casyn Ferguson, and Cooper Ferguson; his siblings, Valentin Martinez Garcia and his wife Leonor Reyes, Manuel Martinez Garcia and his wife Lucila Torres, Bonifacio Martinez Garcia and his wife Adriana Martinez, Rogelio Martinez Garcia and his wife Norma Martinez, and Maribel Beltran and her husband Luiz Beltran; and numerous other family members and friends.
