Aggravated robbery at local game room

Body

Two male subjects took $200 from an employee after breaking into a local game room, located at 204 South May Street, at approximately 5 p.m. on Aug. 2, according to a Madisonville Police Department press release.

The subjects entered the business with a revolver-type handgun. Video was obtained during the investigation, resulting in two suspects and their vehicle.

One of the suspects was identified as William Todd Downie, a white male born on July 11, 1990 (age 31).

Bobby Ray Crouch; 82 years of Bedias, TX; passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 in Bryan, TX. A graveside service was scheduled for 11 a.m. on Tuesday August 17, 2021 at Bedias Baptist Cemetery in Bedias, TX and Jerry Allen Cole officiated. The visitation was scheduled for Monday, August 16, 2021 at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville, TX from 5-7 p.m.

BACK TO SCHOOL

On August 10, the Madison Health Resource Center and Son-Shine Center hosted their Annual Back to School Health Fair at First Baptist Church in Madisonville. Families in need of a little help with school supplies were able to come and get health information from 18 different organizations such as the United Way, Texas C-Step, the Brazos Valley Food Bank, and Texas A&M Behavioral Health to name a few. MISSING PERSON

56-year-old Charles H. “Chuck” McQuary of North Zulch has now been missing for over two week as Madison County Sheriff’s Office personnel continue their search efforts. McQuary, 56, was last seen on Aug. 2 at roughly 6:15 a.m. McQuary stands at six-foot tall and weighs 240 pounds. He has grayish-brown hair and brown eyes.
