Bruce Edward Du-Bose was born August 31, 1930 in Wooster, Texas and died August 12, 2021 in LaPorte, Texas.

Bruce was a resident of Highlands, Texas, Baytown, Texas and Madisonville, Texas.

He retired from Shell Oil in Deer Park, Texas in 1988 and moved to Madisonville, where he resided for thirty-three years.

Bruce was preceded in death by father, Charles B. DuBose; mother, Berma Mae Scott and brother, Garland Ray DuBose.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine DuBose; daughters, Kathryn Limpic and husband, Marshall, Pamela Hammonds and husband, Jim and DeeAnn Giles and husband, Troy; step-son, Kerry Laughlin; step-daughter, Gina Laughlin; grandsons, Tony Cronin and Deric Wallace; granddaughters, Demi Moon, Mikisha Wallace and Leslee Pesak; step-grandson, Tony Laughlin; step-granddaughter, Brooke Whitsitt; four great-grandsons; five great-granddaughters; one step great-granddaughter. He is also survived by one sister, Margaret Duke; three nephews and one niece.

Pallbearers were Dom Netek, Louie Weatherford, Tommy Weatherley, Teddy Culbreth, Robert Culbreth, Tony Cronin and Tony Laughlin.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. at Park Cemetery, Madisonville, Texas.

Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas was entrusted with final arrangements.
