Alice Faye (Hendley) Francis; 80 years, 10 months, 8 days: of Madisonville, TX; passed away on Monday; February 27, 2023 in Madisonville, TX.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11AM on Saturday; March 4, 2023 at Holleman Cemetery in Laneville, TX.

Alice was born on April 19, 1942 in Tyler, TX to A.R. and Fannie Hendley. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler, TX and continued her education graduating from The University of Houston with a degree in home economics and later from The University of Texas at Tyler with a master’s degree in early education.

At the time of Alice’s death, she was living in Madisonville, TX and was a member of The First Baptist Church.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lynn Francis.

She is survived by her children, Steve Francis (Dana), Randy Francis (Marina), and Joseph Francis (Grissel); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
