Betty Lois (Burk) Isbell; 88 years, 7 months, 14 days; from Iola, TX; passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday; March 30, 2021 with her family by her side. Funeral services are scheduled for 11AM on Monday; April 5, 2021 at Iola Church of Christ in Iola, TX with Bro. Donny Chappell officiating. The visitation is scheduled to begin at 10AM prior to the service and the burial will follow at Lake Grove Cemetery in Iola, TX.

Betty was born on August 16, 1932 in Iola, TX to Talmadge and Esther (Ashbranner) Burk and worked for many years for General Telephone in Bryan, TX.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arvol Beason Isbell; and her brother-in-law, Charles Munday.

Betty is survived by her children, Larry Isbell (Stacy), Jean Herrera, Nelda Isbell, and Dixie Bollin (Dwight); ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy Munday; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Serving as pallbearers are: Mike Wrobleski, Allen Munday, David Herrera, Justin Seifert, Nathan Hoke, and Reece Wrobleski. Serving as honorary
