Edith Irene (Goff ) Springer Denman, 74, of Trinity, Texas passed away on March 15, 2023 in Trinity, Texas. She was born on November 9, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to Joe Bailey Goff and Eddie Irene (Carroll) Goff.

Edith raised four children, she was a doting grandmother who loved to cook and dance.

She worked for Texas Department of Criminal Justice for ten years, her family described her as a real go-getter.

Edith was preceded in death by both of her parents; her husband; and two sons, Kenneth Springer and Tim Springer. She is survived by her son, Dewayne Springer (Candace) of Huntsville, Texas; daughters, Shelly Springer of Madisonville, Texas and Kathy Williams of Huntsville, Texas; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service for Edith was held 10 A.M., Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Sister Crystal Wardlow-Campbell officiated. Burial followed in Allphin Cemetery, Midway, Texas. Pallbearers: Mark Springer, Tony Springer, Corey Hilderbrand, Kier Wells, James Moore, Troy Hodges In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to Alzheimer’s research.
