Funeral services are scheduled for 2PM on Friday; April 2, 2021 at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville, TX with Bro. Tuffy Loftin officiating. Maurice was born on September 17, 1934 in North Zulch, TX to Ancil Roger and Mattie Lee (Harvey) Coldiron. He attended Brazosport High School, served his country for four years in The United States Air Force, and was retired from the petrochemical industry as a pipeline inspector. Upon his retirement, he lived in Centerville, TX where he was a member of The Cowboy Church of Leon County.

Maurice was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Esther (Fahrenbruck) Coldiron; his sister, Barbara Massey; his nephew, Darrell Massey; 2 great nephews; 4 stepchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and 4 great stepchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are: Jeff Moore and Brad Hone. Serving as honorary pallbearers are: Harold Gene Wells and Leon Watson.
