Pauline Kimmey, age 100, of North Zulch, passed away at her home June 2, 2023. A funeral service honoring her life was held 11 A.M., Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Rev.

Matt Murray, pastor of First Baptist Church, North Zulch, officiated the service. Interment followed in Willowhole Cemetery.

Emma 'Pauline' Kimmey was born in North Zulch on May 8, 1923, to William Thomas and Allie (Newman) McGill. She was a homemaker her entire life. In her younger years, she and her late husband, Odell, had lived all over the United States and Canada, as his pipeline job took him to various locations. Their home base between work travel was North Zulch, and they resided there the remainder of their lives upon Odell's retirement.

Pauline was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed other craft activities, such as needlepoint.

In her younger years, Pauline took great pride in her yard by keeping it well-manicured.

Pauline was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, North Zulch where she taught Sunday School, was active in WMU and always provided food for various events being hosted at the church.

Her church family had most recently celebrated Pauline's 100th birthday, much to her delight.

Pauline was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, William 'Odell' Kimmey; brothers, Robert Thomas McGill and Royce Vaughn McGill; sisters, Sibyl (McGill) Windham and Gladys (McGill) Kirton; nieces, Alba (Windham) Fels and Imelda (Kimmey) Duke and nephew, Robert Milton McGill.

Surviving family members include nieces, Joyce (Windham) Smith and Rose (Windham) Lee; nephew, William Kimmey & wife, Dale, as well as a host of great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews and other extended family.
