Ralph Steven Grisham, 69, of Plantersville, Texas passed away surrounded by his wife and children on March 6, 2023.

Ralph was born on May 24, 1953 to Ervin and Jackie Grisham in Houston, Texas. He grew up in North Zulch, Texas with his brother and four sisters, and always maintained a close family relationship.

In 1973, Ralph met Annette Norman at a dance hall; they fell in love quickly and were married shortly after.

He spent the rest of his life passionately loving his wife, sharing two daughters, a son and six grandchildren. Ralph also took great pride in his work and built a successful career in the oil and gas industry as a designer and draftsman.

Ralph’s passion for country living began at a young age, and he was always a cowboy at heart. He spent time riding horses, raising cows and pigs and gardening. He was a talented craftsman who could be found in his workshop during his time off, enjoyed country music, dancing with his wife, reading a good book, catching a Dallas Cowboys game and drinking coffee while socializing with family and friends.Despite his many accomplishments, Ralph was known for his unwaveringlove and dedication to his family.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Annette Grisham; daughter and sonin- law, Nelissa and Aaron Salazar; son and daughter-in-law, Steven (Gordy) and Jennifer Grisham; daughter, Andrea Luna; and six grandchildren, Ebony, Olivia, Anna, Jadon, Max and Grant. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

A funeral service for Ralph was held 1 P.M., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas. Bro. Dean Ferguson officiated the service. Interment followed at Allphin Cemetery, Midway, Texas.

Pallbearers: Michael Ryan, Kevin Ferguson, Thomas McWhorter, Robert Gurley, Cody Crocker, Will McWhorter Honorary Pallbearers: Justin Alewine, J.W.

Alewine, Richard Vidal, Drew Vidal, Dylan Gee.

Madisonville Funeral Home, Madisonville, Texas was entrusted with arrangements.
