Rickey Tinney; 70 years; of Madisonville, TX; passed away on Sunday; June 18, 2023 in Madisonville, TX. The funeral services are scheduled for 2PM on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville, TX with the burial to follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Oakhurst, TX. Bro. Michael Juarez will officiate.

Rickey was born on May 10, 1953 in San Antonio, TX to Willie and Mamie Tinney. He attended Huntsville High School, loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, farming, and antiques. He had a huge sense of humor and an easy-going personality and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Johnny Tinney and Gracie Patterson.

Rickey is survived by his children, Chad Tinney (Brenda) and Brad Tinney; his grandchildren, Mercedes Tinney, Ethan Tinney, Kandace Tinney, and Atlas Tinney; and his brother, David Gladden.
