As the Temple College volleyball season progressed, Grace Williamson grew more comfortable. The freshman out of Madisonville High School played in 31 of the team's 36 matches.

The Madisonville football team fell to topranked China Spring at Merrill Green Stadium in Bryan Friday in the Bi-District round of the playoffs, concluding their season after the Mustangs qualified for the postseason for the first time in four years.

The Madisonville women’s basketball team opened their season with a pair of victories over Snook Nov. 9 by a score of 48-13 and Livingston Friday by a score of 47-22. The men’s basketball team was scheduled to open their season Tuesday with a matchup in Hempstead while the Lady Mustangs were scheduled to travel to Caldwell.
