Madisonville High School is hosting a district/community wide drug awareness program night Monday, November 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Madisonville High School Cafeteria. This event is open to the public. Drug Intelligence Officer (DIO) for the Houston High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA), Wendell Campbell will be the speaker.

Madisonville Band Places 19th at UIL Area Contest

The Madisonville High School Marching Band’s quest for a historic finals berth fell short Saturday at the UIL 4A Area D competition, finishing 19th among 31 competing schools. The Mustang Band received varied scores from the five judges: 11th from Music judge C.
