PHOTO COURTESY OF MADISON COUNTY MUSEUM A star-pattern quilt hand-stitched by Georgia Taylor hangs on display at the Madison County Museum, where it anchors a raffle running through Oct. 21. The museum, open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday at 201 N. Madison St., is selling raffle tickets for the quilt — $1 each or six for $5. Tickets are available at the museum and from others helping with the sale.
