Juarez family elevates tax services
At Juarez Tax and Services, the Juarez family journey started a little over 30 years ago, when Armando Juarez became a senior tax consultant at one of the largest franchises, for many years. Around 2006, Armando began showing his son, Micheal, the ropes of the business.
While taking on evening and night appointments in a home-based office, Armando made the decision to leave the firm and work alongside Micheal. Today, the family run business is operated by brothers Lee and Micheal, with help from their father.
Juarez Tax and Services strive to separate themselves from the “flyby- night” tax preparers over the years, overing year-round services, giving them a chance to serve Madison County for twelve months out of the year.
The Juarez family initially saw the need in the Hispanic community for a better understanding of just how the tax system works. This has given the company an opportunity to teach the fundamental aspects of tax laws and returns.
Juarez Tax and Services are IRS authorized E-filers and have all the Preparer Tax identification Numbers, which is necessary for all paid tax preparers. They spend a lot of time learning and reviewing tax law changes and updates, not only during the season, but all year-round.
This family-owned company has found a love for all things sports and arts; sponsoring the Madisonville Youth Football and Cheer, and Little Dibblers. There has also been an opportunity come up for this business to support a Little League baseball team and they will be looking into supporting some of the local arts events.
They also co-sponsored a coat giveaway with other local businesses this past fall and plan on doing more for the local community. There are several giveaways on their social media page, one was helping several people with gasoline during the Christmas season.
The Juarez’s always have their arms open wide for anyone in need and consider their customers like family. “Our firm has had some of the same clients for 30 years,” said Micheal.
Apart from being open year-round, the Juarez’s offers senior, student dependent filer, military and law enforcement discounts.
“The best part is knowing our customers are leaving our office with a better understanding of the US tax system and the best tax return possible,” said Michael Juarez.
