The Madisonville Volunteer Fire Department will hold their annual garage sale Aug. 7 from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. at their location at 1617 East Main Street in Madisonville. The community can drop off items for the event on Aug. 6 from ​8 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Donated items to be sold are encouraged and welcomed. Items can be cosigned and 30% of the money received from the item or items will be donated to MVFD. Items accepted for donation and sale include clothes, furniture, boats, RVs, houseware, knick knacks, etc. The sale of firearms is prohibited.

All proceeds go to benefit the Madisonville Volunteer Fire Department.
