Community Rallies Behind Ashley Vogt as She Faces Lengthy Recovery
In a devastating incident that occurred on Saturday, June 3, a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Interstate 45 and Texas Highway 75 left one driver seriously injured.
Texas Highway Patrol Troopers are currently investigating the collision, which involved a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria and a 2004 Freightliner 18-wheeler.
Preliminary findings suggest that on Saturday, June 3, at approximately 5:30 a.m., a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria driven by Ashley Vogt, 33, of Madisonville, was traveling southbound on SH 75. Simultaneously, a 2004 Freightliner 18-wheeler was heading northbound on SH 75 but failed to yield the right of way to the Ford. Tragically, the Ford collided with the trailer of the Freightliner.
